Soccer

Has started to take over our lives - practices 2x/week, parent meetings, tournament registrations, etc. Logan was so excited to get his first official "Lakeville" uniform. In-house soccer had generic uniforms with different colors for each team - all the Lakeville traveling teams have the same jersey with a home and away set. It has been fun to watch Logan go from "sprinting and booting" the soccer ball to learning "hook turns, pull backs, inverted cuts, and scissor kicks."

Another beautiful March day!!!

The weather this spring has been amazing - so many days above 70 that we are losing count. The trees are budding, the grass is green (I even heard a lawn mower tonight), and the perennials are about 10". Here is a great dinner on the deck enjoying the sun!

Thought we would post a link to the website for Logan's soccer team. This should help grandma and grandpa plan if they want to come watch. Until the end of April, all practices are indoors at Ames Arena or Saints Academy - regular season play starts the end of April and goes till early July. We have not received the game schedule for regular season but it will most likely be 1-2 games per week (usually on week nights). They are in the southern MN conference and will play anywhere from Minneapolis south to Rochester and as far East as Western WI. We have booked (3) tournaments as well (Lakeville, Eagan, and Apple Valley) - already posted on the calendar. Hope you can join us for a great spring season of soccer.
