Happy Easter

We had an amazing day. Great service at Hosanna! and then hours of fun in the 76 degree sun! Went running, cleaned the yard, hit the golf course, the boys played for hours with the neighbor kids, then a great dinner on the deck eating from the grill. Spring has arrived!

They were down 23-17 with 1:56 left and came back to win 24-23.

Home Sweet Home

Sometimes travel is exciting….other times sleeping in your own bed is the best thing in the world. I was reviewing my schedule for the past month and just realized that I have been traveling 28 out of the past 34 days (March 11-April 11). Two of these weeks were family vacation – so it is not as bad as it initially sounds. Here is the breakdown:

• (4) days in San Francisco
• (3) days in Philidelphia
• (5) days in Arizona
• (7) days in Honolulu – family vacation
• (5) days in Kauai – family vacation
• (4) more days in San Francisco

 

I think Delta and Marriott need to thank me for keeping their stock price up. Baseball, hockey, track and spring basketball season started again this week and I am coaching baseball for both boys so the travel will need to slow down for the next several month….cross my fingers!

 

 

 

Funny Carter Story

So we sat down for dinner last night after 2 weeks of eating out during vacation. Sara said, "Carter it is you turn to say grace/pray." Everyone folded their hands and bowed our heads as Carter had a long moment of silence. Then he started praying..."God bless America." He sang the first line of the tune on note till we all started laughing historically. We still aren't sure if he was trying to be silly or actually thought this was a prayer.

Fun in Hawaii

We just got back from 2 amazing weeks in Hawaii. We spent the first week in Honolulu. Highlights included hiking Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, surfing, snorkeling, visiting the Dole pineapple fields, hiking and swimming in the Waimea waterfall, and lots of beautiful sunshine. The second week we flew to Kauai. There we enjoyed some beautiful hikes, swimming with Sea Turtles, several waterfalls and more snorkeling and waterfalls. Good to be home after the 10 hr flight home - boys did great on the trip.
