Feeling blessed
Thank you to our neighbor who stopped by and gave us a bucket full of adorable 0-6 months clothes - many with the tags still on. There must be 40+ different outfits. We are set for our little addition. THANK YOU! Also got the nursery done this weekend, baby seat installed in the car, and all the Christmas decorations up. We are ready.....
It was also a blessing to wake up to 50 degree weather this AM. No more snow! The boys even played baseball outside today.

2nd Place Lakeville South Tournament
After losing the first game of the season, the boys won 5 straight and made it to the championship game this past weekend. After trading baskets early in the game, Shakopee went on a run and we were down 19-8 at halftime. After a pep talk the Cougars applied their intense full court press and went on a 13-2 run. Logan scored a basket to tie the game with less than a minute to play. We called a timeout and drew up/ran a perfect play but the ball didn't drop. In the rebound one of our boys fouled their player with 4 seconds left and they made a free throw to win. What a game! We have 2 weeks off now before going into the regular season with back-to-back tournaments.

Eagan basketball tournament
After a tough first game loss to Eden Prairie, the boys bounced back and won three in a row against Lakeville North, East Ridge and Rosemount to win the consolation championship. Good start to the season. Only 5 more months and eight more weekends dedicated to basketball. Ha! Carter finished hockey try outs this weekend and we should find out his team soon. There will be (13) Mite teams - he is hoping to make one of the top (4) Advanced Mite 3 teams.
