Snowbird Utah

We just returned from our last minute travels to Utah for Sara's grandpa's funeral. It was a beautiful service and the family all enjoyed some time together.

Outside of the funeral, we were able to spend a couple of days up at Snowbird skiing. Logan got his first set of skis and helmet during the trip and now skiing is officially his "goodest thing to do in the whole world" (from the mouth of a 5-year-old). Dad is ecstatic that his oldest son is finding a hobby that aligns with his passions - Shawn is already dreaming of pulling Logan and Carter out of school to go skiing when they get bigger. Most days Shawn skied solo in the morning hours then picked up Logan for a couple of hours in the afternoon. In short, he has no problem getting all the way down the hill without falling and is starting to master turning and stopping.
Too tired to write more.....instead I will just post some fun pictures from our trip and Carter's second b'day.

P.S. Did you know the Easter bunny still shows up at your house when you are on vacation - our boys were amazed at the persistent bunny's visit.
