House & Landscaping Project - let the fun begin!

After what seems like months of planning, the weather has finally warmed up to start our house/landscape re-modeling project. The first 2 weeks will focus on landscaping: removing and rebuilding the boulder retaining walls along our driveway and then extending it 70 ft across our front yard. Next they will install another boulder wall closer to the house that wraps around the corner of the lot. They will then back fill about 2 truck loads of clay and black dirt to level the top of the yard - followed by all new bushes and perennials in mid-May. Next week the house work will start as we remove the existing shutters and bricks and replace with ledgestone. Hopefully we will get a couple weeks of dry weather.

So far 2 loads of boulders have been dropped off. It is hard to tell by the pictures, but the boulders are between 3-5ft in length. The neighbor kids think they are the best play set. The bottom picture with Logan on top of the boulders gives us dimension of the size of the boulders -
