Chicken legs, Brett Favre, Sweat and Tears

You know your son is a fanatic Viking fan when he is locked to the TV for 4 hours straight watching the Vikings game last weekend, then when it is all over he breaks down crying hysterically because the Vikings lost and they "won't go to the trophy game and make lots of money." Sara tried to explain in her clam voice that the Vikings make plenty of money....Dad was less sympathetic and said if you are going to watch the Vikings you have to be prepared for them to lose - it happens every year!

(notice Carter's hair pre-hair cut....and post hair cut below) It was getting a little out of control.

Logan had his Kindergarten Bible Cermony at Hosanna! on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful ceremony with music by the Kindergarten worship team (they are incredible), some videos and short stories, and a blessing for all the kids with their new Bibles. Hosanna! supplies a fabulous kids Bible that breaks done scripture into daily readings.

Outside of that, it was another normal week in the Mayfield house with a trip to the ski hill, some play dates with friends, Shawn traveling for 2 days to Philadelphia, and hours of wrestling. Carter has found a new hobby - puzzles! Daycare said he sat at the table for hours working on puzzle after puzzle....tonight we were at some friends and he did 25-piece puzzles for about 90 minutes. Knock on wood....everyone is healthy at our house! Hopefully it will stay that way till we get back from Disney World!
